Directions

From the M8 in Glasgow go over the Erskine Bridge (junction 30 via the M898) and take the A82 heading west along Loch Lomond side to Tarbet. There take the A83 through Inveraray to Lochgilphead. From Lochgilphead take the A.816 to Oban. Remain on the main road for about seven miles and do not take the turning signposted Crinan at Cairnbaan along the B841. One mile south of Kilmartin take the B.8025 to Crinan which is also signposted for Temple Wood and Nether Largie Cairn - half a mile along this single-track road take the first road on the right which is signposted Slockavullin.

Ri Cruin is the large stone house which is first on the left. Enter by the main gate. The properties should be easily identified from the photographs, the Bullock Shed being on the right, and the Stable straight ahead. We can be found at the rear of the main house. Go past but not through the arch towards the walled garden and follow the garden wall along to the left to the green door with letterbox in it.
